Alma Clementina's story

Alma is 46 years old, a single mother, and has two children; one of whom lives with her, in the municipality of Azacualpa, Santa Barbara. For three years, Alma has had a business selling food: lunches and dinners. She sells soups, grilled meat, baked chicken, and fried chicken with plantain. She is getting good results with this business, in which she has invested several loans. The one she is currently requesting is for 10,000 lempiras, and is her fourth with ODEF. She will use this to buy ingredients such as meats, vegetables, flour, lard, soft drink, condiments, staple grains, etc. She wants to keep more products in inventory so that she can make a variety of meals and increase her sales. Her dream is to see her business grow, so that she can improve her quality of life.
