A loan of $525 helped to buy fabrics, thread, zippers, clasps, and other items for making school uniforms.

Elias De Jesus's story

Don Elías is 52 years old, married, and has two grown children. He lives in a neighborhood in the town of Choloma, Cortes.

Don Elías has his own tailoring shop where he has been producing men’s and women’s clothes, suits, and uniforms for 25 years. He works all day at his business. The loan he is requesting is in the amount of 10,000 HNL and will be invested in the purchase of materials such as fabrics, thread, zippers, clasps, and other items for making uniforms this season.

Don Elías decided to take this loan so that he could buy materials in bulk, thus enabling him to get a lower price and save more. His goal is to operate a successful workshop since it is the only source of income for his family.
