A loan of $300 helped to buy uniforms and school supplies to sell.

Maria Consuelo's story

María, 62, is married living with her husband in a neighborhood that belongs to the municipality of Choloma, Cortes. She has her own business. She’s been a merchant for 25 years selling all sorts of general merchandise. Currently, she’s selling cameras, curtains, sandals, lotions, hair dyes and other items that are requested. She sells at home and also from place to place. Her business is stable and she already has her own customers. She’s asking for a 5,500 Lempira loan to take advantage of the school term. She will buy school supplies and uniforms for children. Her plan is to always be well-stocked with what customers request.
