Makarimal Akhlakh Gpe 18 Group's story

Makarimal Akhlakh Gpe 18 is a group of ten women who work in the same sector. They are all merchants who both buy and sell fish. They are also affiliated with the same economic interest group of Makarimal Akhlakh. They are represented by Dieynaba (shown with her hand raised in the photo).

Dieynaba has over 30 years of experience in her sector. She is requesting a loan in order to increase her working capital. This loan will be used to purchase fish that she will then resell. Dieynaba is married, and the income she earns will enable her to pay for the education of her children and to pay for various household bills. Dieynaba begins working at 5:00 in the morning and finishes at 2:00 in the afternoon. She wants to increase her earnings in order to better manage the household expenses. Dieynaba would like to someday purchase a canoe in order to travel for her business.
