A loan of $625 helped to purchase a stock of grains.

Assai's story

Assai is a 51-year-old mother of four children, two of whom attend school. In order to care for her younger children, Assai has been selling grain from her home since 2002. She purchases her supplies in Lomé and from cities far away from where Assai lives in the country. In order to help her business to grow and ensure her family's vitality, Assai has sought her first loan from WAGES. Assai plans to use her loan to purchase a stock of grains, which she will sell to achieve her goals.
