Agneta is 36 years old and lives with her husband and three children in a small house in the Coast province of Kenya. Her husband works as a businessman. All of their children attend school.
Agneta is a hardworking, responsible and welcoming woman. She has been running a business selling fruits and vegetables for several years. She sells at the market and she has very many regular customers who prefer her because she sells fresh products.
She is requesting a loan of 50,000 KES to purchase large amounts of fruits and vegetables such as bananas, potatoes, onions, tomatoes, kale, cabbages, etc.
In future, Agneta wishes to open a kiosk to stock groceries.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
