The village bank that this group belongs to was formed on June 8th, 2011. Its members enjoy good social cohesion and most of them work selling products retail. Satou, the featured borrower, is the lady sitting on the right of the photo with her hand raised. She is 22 years old, single, and doesn't have any children. Satou will use her loan to buy groundnut seeds for 60,000 francs. She will re-sell these and make profits which will help her to strengthen her savings.
