Thomas's story

Thomas is 29 year old married man and supports three people. Thomas runs a small scale farming business as well as a retail shop. He has been in business for the last two years and his monthly income from both businesses is 10,000 KES.

He has borrowed his fourth loan of 20,000 KES which he intends to use to purchase farm inputs e.g. fertilizer, insecticides and seedlings and also add stock of crates of bread and soft drinks for sale in his retail shop.

He plans to plough the additional income back into the business and save some to educate his children.
