A loan of $575 helped to buy vegetables, fruits and household items.

Regina's story

Regina is a 35-year-old married woman. She has three children. She describes herself as a self-driven and honest woman. She operates a general store where she sells vegetables, fruits and household items. She has been involved in this business for six years. Her business is located in a densely populated area and her primary customers are local residents.

She describes her biggest business challenge as insufficient funds for improving the retail shop and grocery store. She will use the 50,000 KES loan to buy vegetables, fruits and household items.

Her business goal is to start a new business - a boutique - within five years. She hopes that in the future she will expand her business and own this boutique. This is her second loan with SMEP DTM after taking a previous loan of 20,000 KES which she managed to repay successfully.
