Eddah's story

Eddah is a married woman. She has two children, aged 10 years and 19 years old. She describes herself to be a determined woman. She operates a bookstore where she sells books. She has been involved in this business for three years. Her business is located within a busy urban area and her primary customers are schools and residents from the environs. She describes her biggest business challenge to be inadequate funds for buying books.

Eddah will use the Kes 20,000 loan to buy more books to sell. Her business goal is to open multiple bookstores within five years. This is her third loan with SMEP DTM after taking out a loan of Kes 15,000 which she repaid successfully.
