Pamela's story

Pamela, 22, is a young woman living in the city of Chincha, a city with a variable climate that has beautiful beaches and a very diverse cuisine. Pamela is a young woman who very much wants to get ahead, so much so that she’s studying Communication Science and to pay for her education works as an assistant in an institution in the city. She works about 8 hours daily and attends classes at night. She believes that she’s doing well because she’s responsible and above all because she has a strong drive to get ahead.

Pamela is very grateful to Kiva lenders because thanks to the support they’ve given her she will buy merchandise like Bermuda shorts, BVDs, shirts, skirts, etc. to sell to her classmates and coworkers. She will earn extra income this way and will also be able to pay her university tuition and will be able to continue striving to make her greatest dream reality: to work for one of the country’s great journalism firms.
