A loan of $600 helped to buy nutritionally balanced animal feed.

Julia's story

37 year old Julia is a responsible woman. She lives with her 2 children: José Andrés and Janeth and she cares for them in the house she bought 6 years ago.
She is an admirable woman and cares for her children alone. She manages to earn money and her only business is raising pigs. She has 15 head of pigs which she fattens and raises with great dedication. She then sells the meat to order and occasionally people buy them live. "It all depends on the customer." she says. The business is doing well and she makes good profits that enable her to raise her children. But, in order to bring some extra money into the home, she also works as a farm laborer on various farms during the harvest season and also in the brickworks in her area. Her goal is to take advantage of the season when they pay more. Now she wants to open a restaurant in her house as there isn't one in the area and there are a lot of businesses so she wants to take advantage of their need. She belongs to the loan group The Entrepreneurs and this is her third loan from MFP. She is grateful for their support, which which she will achieve her goals She also promises to make her repayments on time. She also likes being part of the group and has known everyone for a long time.
Julia will use the money she is requesting to buy nutritionally balanced feed for her animals.
