Hawa is a 40-year-old married woman. She hails from Kakoba in the Mbarara municipality. She resigned from her teaching job after her employer failed to pay her for a period of six months. After resigning, she started poultry farming with the little savings she had. This project has enabled her earn a living for her family. This project is important for the family since her husband is unemployed. She is requesting a loan of 3,000,000 Uganda shillings to expand her poultry house. She would like to increase the number of birds that she rears so as to increase her productivity and hence the family income.
