Mortula, age 66, is engaged in a family agricultural business. She lives in the village of Tsotskhnara with her retired husband, her son, her daughter-in-law, and a 15-year-old grandchild who attends the local school.
The family is involved in the animal husbandry business and have three calves and two milk cows, whose milk is used in cheese products. In addition, Mortula grows nuts, haricots, maize, and strawberries on the family-owned land. She works hard to ensure a good harvest. She has gained rich experience in her work.
Mortula has requested a loan in order to purchase an additional calf and a milking cow. With this investment, she will be able to produce and sell more cheese. She intends to expand her business in order to earn a better profit. She will reinvest her profits into her agricultural business as well as being able to spend more on the family’s daily needs.
Her goal is to improve the living conditions of the family.
