Shakuul's story

Shakuul lives together with her husband and four children in Edudrom near Cape Coast. Her husband is a laborer at the University of Cape Coast.

Shakuul operates a grocery shop, which she has done for eight years. The items in her grocery shop are rice, cooking oil, tinned fish, tinned tomatoes, Milo, different kinds of drinks, biscuits, toffees, milk, soap, etc.

Shakuul uses her income to support her husband in paying their children’s school fees. She will use her loan to purchase a variety of groceries to sell. With the new profit, Shakuul plans to expand her business.
