Ginalyn's story

Ginalyn, age 33, raises hogs to earn an income. She has been engaged in this business for almost five years, and for every hog that she sells she earns a net profit of PhP 2,000. She lives with her husband, who is a farmer, and their two children.

She has requested a loan amounting to PhP 15,000 in order to purchase hogs to raise. She will apply her additional profits toward repairing her pig pens to ensure better shelter for her hogs. Generally, she applies her profits toward purchasing hog feed.
