A loan of $875 helped to pay for beads, crochet materials, and other things needed in making bracelets, necklaces and crocheted items.

Flora's story

This is Flora; she previously accessed an 15,000 PHP loan that she used to buy needed materials for beaded bracelets and necklaces. Her earnings were a big help for the education of her children, and in their personal, household and business expenditures. She and her husband work hand-in-hand in providing income for their family.

She would like to apply for another 35,000 PHP loan to buy beads, crochet materials, and other things needed in making bracelets, necklaces, and crocheted items. The more items displayed at the store, the better. More items to sell will result in a better profit. Her profits from the business will definitely help her to sustain her daily needs, and the educational expenses of her children. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Flora hopes to expand her business, and dreams of having a good life. She faithfully meets up with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her life and business every week, and to draw strength and inspiration from studiyng the fellowship Word of God.

* All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay Micro Finance loans.
