A loan of $525 helped to buy lipstick, deodorant, cream, lotion, lip gloss, talcum powder, foundation, hair dye, etc. for her business.

Elbia Antonia's story

Señora Elbia is 54 years old and lives in the south of Honduras with her daughter, who helps her with her business. She has sold perfumes and cosmetics for the past 12 years.

Elbia sells her products door-to-door in villages and farmhouses in the community in which she lives. She distributes her goods to lots of people with whom she has worked for many years.

Elbia needs the loan to buy lipstick, deodorant, cream, lotion, lip gloss, talcum powder, foundation, hair dye, etc. for her business. She hopes that the loan will help her to meet her customers' needs, since she will be able to offer more products and meet the demand for her products.

Elbia's plan for the future is to continue expanding her business and set up a bigger cosmetics and perfume store. She also wants to make a larger profit to improve her and her family's quality of life.
