Aura Velia's story

Aura is 45 years old, single, and originally from the town of Mal Paisillo, León. She studied up to the third year of high school, and has three grown-up children.

She is a shop-keeper, working in her grocery store and selling soup. She began her business with her own money at the age of 34. She did so to make a living, selling soup on Sundays to earn more money.

She feels very satisfied because this business makes her money every day, she has regular customers. She currently owns her grocery store and sells soup every weekend. Her mother helps her out with her business.

Her goal is to expand her grocery store. On this occasion, she is requesting a loan to buy chicken, rice, potatoes, onions, sugar, oil, toilet paper, beans, soap, toothpaste, etc. She believes that this loan will help her to stock her shop in order to increase her sales and make higher profits.

Her future plan is to set up a fried food stall to expand her business. One of her aims is to increase her earnings so that she can pack back the loan and request another.
