Dallal Al-Hodeida Group's story

Dallal AL-Hodeida is a group of four poor women from Al-Hodeida, Yemen. They applied for a loan of 80,000 YER to pay for purchasing woman's clothes.

Dalal, a 37-year-old married woman, lives with her children in a small house in Al-Hodeida city. Her husband went abroad two years ago to work in Saudi Arabia. Since then, she decided to work and earn money to cover the needs of her children. She is a door-to-door women's clothing saleswoman. She sells "dera'a", a traditional Yemeni dress. Dalal earned a good profit from this business, so she decided to purchase more clothes and target new clients. Therefore, she asked for a loan in the amount of 20,000 YER. Dalal looks forward to opening a clothing store in the near future.
