Moath's story

Moath, a 33-year-old married man, lives with his five children in a rented house in Taiz, Yemen. He owns a grocery store. He began by selling food products in the street four years ago. He accumulated money and then opened his own grocery store. As Moath wants money to purchase food products for his store, he has asked for a loan of 150,000 YER from Al-Amal Microfinance Bank (AMB). He hopes to improve his family's living conditions, become a merchant and have his own house.
