A loan of $850 helped to stock her store.

Martha Carolina's story

Martha is 42 years old and from Estelí. She is single, the mother of two children, and a merchant by trade. She owns a general store and started with her own money and stocked her store little by little with products she didn’t have. She feels good because she says that her sales have been increasing and in this way she has been able to increase her income. This is her first business and she has been able to get ahead with the earnings from it. Her goal is to expand her store.

She needs this loan to buy basic grains, soft drinks, rice, cooking oil, soap, bathroom tissue, etc. She estimates that this loan will help her increase her sales and add all the merchandise that she doesn’t have in inventory. Her future plans are to improve the infrastructure of the place she has her business, so that she can present it better.
