Mayra Sebastiana's story

Mayra Sebastiana is 45 years old. She is married and lives in the city of Masaya, locate din the southern part of Leon. She is described as being a hardworking, responsible woman who has shown with previous loans that she pays them off responsibly. Unfortunately, due to a lack of resources, she was unable to go to college and had to work from a very young age to help pay the household expenses.

Thanks to her spirit and her desire to get ahead, her economic activity is raising and selling pigs to area merchants. They use the meat to make traditional dishes from the region. The reason for the loan is to invest in working capital to buy a lot of pigs to raise and sell, since they are at a good price. Mayra Sebastiana is grateful to the Kiva investors for offering help to low income people in poor countries like Nicaragua so they can have dignified work.
