A loan of $500 helped to buy bags for packaging salt and to pay for labor.

Alcides Aristides's story

Alcides lives with his family and earns his living by selling salt. He is married and has two children (ages 5 and 7) who are financially dependent on him. Alcides started this business as a way of providing his household with whatever is needed. He learned this business from his father. Alcides processes the salt and then packages it for sale.

He is currently requesting a loan so that he can buy packing bags. Alcides will also pay for labor, which will help with both production and sales. His goal is to see that his business improves his family’s living conditions.
