Reyes is a computer science student who works fixing computers and electronic equipment. He lives in his parents’ house who sadly can’t afford to pay for his studies and work tools. He lives in the city of La Paz’s Obispo Indaburu zone. He requests the loan to buy a new computer that will help him both with his university courses and with the work he does. Roby’s dream is to finish his studies and become independent so his parents can live better.
Roby es un estudiante de Ingeniería de Sistemas que se dedica al mantenimiento de computadoras y equipos electrónicos. Vive en casa de sus padres que lamentablemente no pueden pagar sus estudios y sus herramientas de trabajo. Vive en la zona obispo Indaburu de la ciudad de La Paz.

IMPRO is a small non-profit organization that has been offering micro credit to the working poor in the Bolivian cities of La Paz and El Alto since 1995. IMPRO’s goal is to fight poverty by offering loans to small business owners who cannot access credit through the regular banking system due to a lack of guarantees or collateral.
To ensure that everyone has access to credit, IMPRO maintains a low interest rate by minimizing operational costs. IMPRO’s partnership with Kiva, which began in 2007, has allowed IMPRO to expand its services while maintaining these low interest rates.
