A loan of $600 helped to buy agricultural supplies, such as seeds, insecticides, fertilisers, etc.

Santos's story

Santos, 45 years old, lives in a house she owns, together with her family. She works in agriculture, growing the main basic grains: maize and beans. She also grows loroco (a kind of vine with edible flowers) and jocotes (sineguela fruit). After harvesting, she sells part of her crop in order to meet her household needs which are increasing on a daily basis. She is an admirable and enterprising woman. Her priority is to earn a living in a dignified way, working with her hands.

She has worked all her life in agriculture. This is how she has managed to survive as she has no other source of income other than agriculture. Like all enterprising and visionary women, she has taken the decision to approach this institution as the sowing season is starting soon and she wants to be prepared.

For this reason she is requesting this loan from Integral, in order to invest in the purchase of agricultural supplies, such seeds, insecticides, fertilisers, etc. This will allow her to start sowing as soon as it is possible and later to harvest the fruit of her labour. She is confident that the harvest will be abundant, which will enable her to improve her own quality of life, as well has her family’s.
