Digna's story

Digna, 56 years old, is a single working woman who has managed to bring up her children on her own. They are now all now independent. She lives comfortably in her own home, in the company of her brother.
Digna works renting rooms for single people, with air conditioning, in her own home. She offers 10 convenient and comfortable rooms for rent. She has been at this business for over 3 years and has her brother’s support, who helps her search for new tenants.
She likes her business as it generates income and allows her to have a job and feel like a productive person. For this reason, she plans to expand and build more rooms in order to increase her income. This loan will be her third with the MFP institution and she is very happy to know that she has such financial support. It makes her feel safe to move forward with her business. With the requested loan amount pf 1000 Peruvian Soles, she will invest in the purchase of materials such as wood and slats to expand and build more rooms. She is looking to get lower prices for volume purchases.
