A loan of $925 helped a member purchase of chemicals, knives, weed killing spray, and tools for their businesses.

Filifilia's Group's story

The women in this group are engaged in planting and selling taro and bananas. Their husbands actually do the farming, while the women sell and look for markets. This operates much like a family business in which everyone participates through different tasks. This is a new group and the members are very hard working and honest women. They participate and attend weekly meetings and they have started their businesses well. These are their first loans and will be their first experiences in running their own money.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.

In this group: Filifilia, Galutoto, Lupeautino
