Om-Hussin Group's story

Om-Hussin Group consists of five women who live in Hodeidah, Yemen. Saeeda, 51, lives with her children in Hodeidah, Yemen. After the illness of her children's father, she became the only source of income.

For three years now, she has been in the business of selling perfumes, incense, and cloth. To help her continue her business operations, Saeeda and her group have applied for a loan of YER 150,000. She will use her portion to buy more quantities of perfumes, incense, cloth and other materials for her business. She expects a boost in her income as she expands her business which, in turn, will allow her to get her own shop.
