Mano Group's story

Mano Group is a group that is composed of four women. They are from Hodiedah, Yemen. They work together to help one another. They are hardworking, enterprising women who do not give up easily. They are currently requesting for a loan of 60,000 YER from Al-Amal Microfinance Bank (AMB) in order to expand their business levels. Suad is the leader of the group. She is 31 years old and lives in Hodiedah. She started her business of selling incense and perfumes when her husband could no longer afford their household expenses. Her business has helped her to provide for her family. She is turning to AMB to request for a loan of 15,000 YER to buy incense and perfumes because she has pending orders and would like to be able to fill them for her customers.
