A loan of $375 helped to pay for cloth, thread, fabric, and other materials needed in her business.

Elizabeth's story

This is Elizabeth. She previously accessed a PHP 8,000 loan that she used to purchase quantities of raw materials like fabric, thread, and other materials needed in her business. Her earnings were a big help in meeting her personal, household, and business expenditures and in educating her children. She and her husband work hard to provide income for their family.

Elizabeth would like to apply for another loan (PHP 15,000) to buy cloth, thread, fabric, and other raw materials needed in her business. Her profits from the business will definitely help her to sustain her daily needs and her children’s education. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Elizabeth hopes to give a good life and a future to her family. She dreams to expand her business. Every week, she faithfully meets up with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work and also draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All Center for Community Transformation Credit Cooperative (CCT) community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay microfinance loans.
