A loan of $1,575 helped a member to purchase three local pigs and their feed.

Mawar Group's story

Ni Komang wants to increase her business by keeping local pigs that she can sell to people who want to make roast suckling pigs. She needs a new loan to purchase three local pigs and their feed. Pigs destined for roasting usually only need to be raised for two or three months; then she can sell them. Her husband supports her business by helping her to give feed and clean the barn. Ni Komang saves her profits because she has a dream of renovating her kitchen. Two of the members of this group couldn't attend the meeting because they had a ceremony at the temple.
