Sieb is 52 years old and a married father blessed with one kid who is still in school. The rest of his family resides in the Moung Russey district of Battambang province, Cambodia. Sieb works with his wife to grow rice and beans to provide the main source of the family's income. He has been a farmer for 10 years and earns about 27,500 KHR per day. He has repaid three previous loans that have gradually improved his lifestyle.

Sieb is the leader of a two-person group requesting a 1,400,000 KHR loan for each member. He will use his loan portion to buy potash and insecticide for three hectares of farmland as well as pay for labor fees. Sieb hopes to grow his crop fruitfully and timely to increase his yields and earn larger profits for his children’s sake.
