A loan of $275 helped purchase live pigs for butchering.

Fatima Del Rosario's story

Fátima del Rosario is a 52-year-old woman. She is the mother of an 11-year-old boy who is currently going to primary school. She butchers pigs to make different pig products such as fried pig and pepena. She sells different cuts of pork as well as fruits and vegetables. She makes these sales out of her home as well as by going door-to-door with a small cart. Her mother taught her this trade because she had the same type of business, so Fatima decided to start her own, which she has had for 27 years. Her biggest dream is to give her son a better quality of life and help him become a professional. To do this, she plans to invest more in her business.
