A loan of $375 helped to buy more merchandise like perfume, powder, and deodorant, etc.

Zoila's story

Zoila, age 37, is a nice, good, and hard-working woman. She is in a common-law marriage with Roy, and they have four children, ages 15, 8, 4, and 2. They are living in her mother’s house until they are able to get together enough to buy their own house. Meanwhile, she works a lot in order to be able to give her family a better quality of life.

Zoila sells beauty products like make-up, perfume, and hand cream, among others. On her block she has a lot of customers who are her neighbors, friends, and relatives. She makes her orders wholesale through catalogs.

She waits at her house for her customers. When there are no sales, she leaves to look for them. She has been doing this work for two years. She has learned how to go looking for customers in order to be able to sell a product. She works alone because this allows her to have better income.

She likes this work a lot because it generates good income for her and because it calls for a lot in regards to quality and fashion. Also, it is not very difficult, and she is able to do it during the time she has available each day.

She hopes to be able to continue working. Later on she hopes to have a store where she is able to offer her items to her customers in a more comfortable way.

This will be her first loan with MFP. She hopes for your help in order to continue on with her objectives. She pledges to make her payments. It pleases her to be part of her communal bank because all of the members are very responsible and supportive people.

She will use the requested 900 soles to buy more merchandise like perfume, powder, and deodorant, etc. Then she will have a variety of products to offer her customers.
