Ezekiel's Group's story

Ezekiel is a 49-year-old dryland farmer. He and his wife have three children, all of whom are currently in school. Ezekiel grows maize, cowpeas and green grams, raises goats and has a kiosk shop. Like many rural, dryland farmers, Ezekiel faces the challenges of drought and issues with transportation in doing business. He wants to become a KOMAZA tree farmer so he can earn money to support his family, build a good house, educate his children, and improve his farming activities by gaining knowledge from the tree farming program.
