A loan of $925 helped to buy parts for his truck.

Ramon Antonio's story

Ramon is 57 years old and is a humble man from the Banderas settlement. He is married and the father of four adult children on their own. He is a merchant, sells quarried stone and has done so for 20 years. He started as a merchant and then with the help of his friend he rented a truck so that he could go out to sell the stones in different departments. Then with the help of his friend he was able to buy his first truck with the money generated from this business. Now he has two trucks and he works them with his children and two helpers who go out to sell to other places.

Ramon is asking for this loan to buy tires, batteries, and lights; all the supplies he needs to be able to maintain his trucks. He estimates that this loan will be a great help because he will be able to initiate sales, earning more profit. His future plans are to pay off this loan and then request another in order to buy a parcel of land so that he can raise animals. One of his goals is to improve the infrastructure in his home.
