A loan of $300 helped to buy corn and firewood.

Milagro Elizabeth's story

Milagro is 26 years old and has two children, ages 7 and 3. She is a single mother and lives with her parents. She sells tortillas and clothing on foot so that she can earn an income to help her family. She has had this business for three years and learned it on her own initiative. She sells tortillas on Monday through Saturday mornings and clothing on foot in the evenings.

She is asking for this loan to buy corn and firewood, which she needs to make tortillas. This will give her the money she needs to buy the supplies and she will be able to make her sales.

Milagro’s aspiration is to provide a better life for her children who attend school to prepare for their future.
