Korpo

A loan of $275 helped to purchase more food items to enlarge her inventory, like okra, palm oil and onions.

Korpo's story

Korpo is 27 years old and lives in Paynesville, which is one of the populated areas in Montserrado County. She is married and has two children, ages eight months and eight years. Only one of them is currently in school, and they both live at home.

For three years, Korpo has been selling food items, like okra, bitter ball, palm oil, salt, onions, and vita, in the local market. She started this business with a little amount of capital she received from her husband. She enjoys the buying by her customers and the money that she generates from her business. She is requesting a loan to purchase more items like those listed, to expand her business. Her plans are to build a house, and to educate her children.
