A loan of $350 helped to pay for labor for sowing and to buy a mule.

Marvin Jose's story

Marvin, age 29, is from the Las Minitas region on the outskirts of Teustepe. He is single and has one child. He is a farmer by trade. He started in this field when he was very young. He did this with the help of his sister-in-law, who takes care of his daughter while he does his daily work activities. He grows corn, beans, and wheat. That is how he was able to get ahead with his crops and with his daughter. When he is not planting, he takes care of a farm where he lives. This generates extra income for him. He sells his products in Managua, where they pay him a good price.

Marvin is requesting the loan in order to pay for labor for sowing and to buy a mule. This will help him transport his crops to other places. He thinks that this loan will help him to see to his sowing and to increase his corn and bean crops. His next goal is to improve the infrastructure of his house.
