Fatoumata's story

Fatoumata is 34 years old, married, and the mother of three children. She lives with her husband and children in the Angoulême II neighborhood of the city of Ségou.

Since she did not attend school for social reasons, she began very early to work as a hair braider, and she is very gifted and creative in this field. In addition to braiding hair, she also sells hair extensions. She is very well-known in the city of Ségou and its surroundings.

In order to increase her business and meet her customers' demand, she has turned to Soro Yiriwaso and is on her second individual loan.

She is planning to use her loan to buy 625 hair extensions. She buys her goods in Burkina Faso and resells for cash and on credit to a customer base which only consists of women.

She is expecting monthly profits to reach 100,000 CFA francs, which will help her to support her family.
