Fighting for a better future? We need your help.

Creating a more equitable world takes a lot of time and energy, but at Kiva we’re in it for the long haul. 100% of money lent on Kiva goes to funding loans. That means we rely on donations from people like you to make this work possible. For a limited time, if you donate $35 or more, a $25 bonus will be added to your account (you’ll get an email once it’s there).

A loan of $2,725 helped improve living conditions by renovating her kitchen.

Inna's story

Ina lives and works in Melitopol. She trades at a large local market, selling women's clothing and underwear. Her products are mainly jackets, sweaters, sweatshirts, etc. She has her own shop. She has 15 years experience in this field. However, Inna asked Kiva for a loan.

Ina has long dreamed of renovating her kitchen, thereby improving their living conditions. She plans to use 22,000 hryvnia for exactly this purpose: namely, to tile the kitchen floor, lay a tile back splash, hang wallpaper, drywall the ceiling, and get new kitchen appliances and furniture.
