Rose is widowed with four children. All her children go to school. She has a business of selling tomatoes, onions and red pepper. She has been in this business for ten years, selling to all categories of people at retail.
Rose has applied for a loan of 300,000 Uganda shillings from MCDT-SACCO to buy more boxes of tomatoes, onions and red pepper. She works six days at the market out of every week. Her major business challenges include seasonality, thieves and perishability.
Rose aspires to become a wholesaler and also to start growing those vegetables herself.
