A loan of $1,250 helped to open a vegetable store.

Alexander's story

Alexander lives in Vinogradovo. He raises vegetables and fruits on 75 acres of land, specifically potatoes, carrots, beets, onions and apples that he then sells. He currently rents his sales location. He works alone and does not have hired help. There are times when Alexander has a difficult time, because he cannot find demand for his products and he does not have anyone to sell them to, then he sells the vegetables and fruits at a lower price to the local canning plant.

Alexander plans to use the resources he gets from KIVA, 10,000 hryvnia, in order to open a vegetable store.
