A loan of $1,375 helped to purchase more livestock.

Nasira's story

Nasira is 48 years old, married, and the mother of three children. She has become involved in animal husbandry, which is now the main source of income for her family.

Nasira started in this business in 1998 with an initial capital of 10,000 som (KGS) and she has managed to expand her activity. She is currently doing well: she owns some dairy cows, bulls and young oxen, some smaller livestock and a horse. With the money that she has earned from animal husbandry, she has built an extension to her house, providing comfortable living conditions for her farm animals.

Nasira makes a monthly profit of 15,000 som (KGS) from the sale of milk and the resale of fattened livestock at the local cattle market.

In order to further develop her business, Nasira has turned to Bai Tushum & Partners for a loan of 65,000 som (KGS). She will use this loan to buy more livestock.

Nasira plans to invest her earnings into further increasing her herd. She is also dreaming of owning a car one day.
