A loan of $1,500 helped to buy building supplies and pay labor costs.

Josefa Antonia's story

Josefa, 28, is married and has two children. She works managing her collective passenger transportation firm with her husband. They learned this business from some relatives who are businessmen.

The loan she’s asking Fundación Campo for is to buy a truckload of sand, 500 bricks, ten sacks of cement, 3 quintals of iron rods, a truckload of gravel and to pay labor costs to build a kitchen. In this way, she’ll be secure because during the rainy season her kitchen gets wet and she has to wait until it stops raining in order to cook because it’s currently built of reeds, daub and metal sheeting. Among her goals is to continue making home improvement, to build two bedrooms for her children and to provide them with schooling.
