A loan of $600 helped to buy fertilizer and herbicide to care for her oil palm crop.

Lola's story

Lola, forty-nine, is a hardworking and diligent, as well as friendly and cordial, woman. She's married to Cesar, an accountant. They have two children, eighteen and sixteen, whom she loves very much and they all live in her own house.

Lola grows oil palm trees. She has a ten hectare plot of productive trees. She's been in business for a little over four years and now makes her living harvesting and selling her product while her husband helps administer the business.

Lola feels that continuous production and sufficient demand make the business profitable, and she earns a good income and manages to pay her expenses. She likes what she does and sees herself as a businesswoman, so she has a great desire to succeed. This will be her third loan with MFP and she's hoping for your collaboration so she can continue on with her goals. She is pleased with her communal bank and thinks they're good people. With the 1500 soles loan she's requesting she'll invest in fertilizer and herbicide to take care of her oil palm trees.
