A loan of $2,600 helped a member to buy a sow.

Poh Gending Lestari Group's story

Ni Nengah and the whole group of Poh Gending Lestari got a second loan from MUK. After evaluating the first loan, the group wanted to get additional funding from MUK to supplement their pigs.

Ni Nengah has a plan to use the loan to buy a sow and feed purchased with her own capital. Ni Nengah lives with her husband, who works as a private employee, and one of her children who is still in senior high school. Every day she spends 30,000 IDR for groceries, 20,000 IDR to equip her schoolchild and 125,000 IDR to pay for electricity and water. She hopes the sow can give her a lot of healthy piglets.
