A loan of $1,250 helped to buy more coffee and other related products, and grocery items, toiletries and beverages needed in her variety store.

Nieves's story

This is Nieves. She previously accessed a PHP30,000 loan that she used to buy more coffee and other products to expand her product inventory. Her earnings were a big help for the education of her children and in their personal, household and business expenditures. She now has a variety store which also helps generate income for her family.

She would like to apply for another PHP50,000 loan to buy more coffee and other related products. She will also use the money in buying grocery items, toiletries and beverages needed in her variety store. Her profits from her business will definitely help her to sustain the daily needs and educational expenses of her children. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Nieves dreams that her businesses will continue to grow and hopes that her children will finish their studies. She faithfully meets up with her co-fellowship members every week to share stories of their work. It is where she can also draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay Micro Finance loans.
