Martha is the co-ordinator of the communal bank, which means she is in charge of the bank and ensuring that payments are made correctly and on time. Martha is sells curd as a travelling salesperson, as well as from her home. She works for 8 hours a day, under the hot sun, carrying 20kg and selling her curd. She works with pleasure as her work allows her to make money.

The loan is intended to invest in working capital and stocking her business with curd so that in a not to distant future she can make a better income. The communal bank "Revelación en Dios" is grateful for the help that the Kiva lenders offer to people with few resources and poor countries like Nicaragua so that they can have a means of honest work.
